About

One hot muggy August day in 1949 a girl child was born. I am she. I give advice shamelessly and always with the warning “It’s worth what it cost.” That doesn’t mean my advice is worthless though. I have paid dearly for the experience and the therapy to understand the experience. What I pass out free is a very expensive gift.

I have lived through a million storms–some of my own making; some thrust upon me. My current deluge is the fall out from prostate cancer. I am not sure yet whether the water is rising or receding; whether the levy will hold or wash away. We are recovering but survival is still in question.

So my fellow cybernauts, if you know where I am going or have a sense of where I’ve been, chime right in. I hope this is the road less travelled. I would hate to think it is a thoroughfare.
